Project axonometric-Rhinoceros + illustrator
Part of my thesis and  the subject ´´Design Thesis´´, from my time as an architecture student at the Torcuato di Tella University, in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The project starts from the Catalinas Norte Tower, based on the fact that both the particular case study, as well as the entire property (in the Catalinas Norte zone, CABA, Buenos Aires, Argentina), is in decline usage and must go through a process of change in order to continue existing.
As a main principle, the idealization of the skyscraper in general is criticized, understanding that both the structure of a building and its enclosure should not act passively with respect to what is inside or outside, but we take charge of this and transform those issues into design material. It is because of this that the project makes the structure respond programmatically and the façade responds to the bioclimatic conditions where the building is located.
Furthermore, the project understands that the main failure of the case study and the property is the lack of different programs, so it uses a program like the college city that necessarily requires a wide range of subprograms to function, and that also allows Catalinas to be inhabited at all times of the day.
The project also takes charge of the beginning of a typological search by trying to begin to resolve a college city that is located in the center of a city and that has only possibilities of vertical development
